**RESPONSIBLE FOR**

Duties will include, assisting with all painting and decorating required by the Maintenance Manager at Mckays and our partner hotels and restaurants located in and around the Highlands, ensuring a high standard of finish and the smooth running of the premises for the enjoyment and comfort of our guests.

**SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION**
- As part of the maintenance team you will assist with reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring that this is undertaken with the minimum disruption to guests and facilities.
- You will receive instruction on statutory regulations needed within the Hotel environment as well as company policies and procedures, ensuring these are complied with at all times.

**TRAINING, TEAMWORK AND COMMUNICATION**
- Assist in the training of new team members.
- Pass all relevant training certification.
- Pass all Health & safety and Food Safety training and testing.
- Assist in making new team members feel welcome.
- Actively and positively encourage teamwork.
- Ensure that guests’ needs are met by assisting colleagues where required during the shift.
- Minimise misunderstandings by ensuring that all messages are communicated clearly and are understood by guests and colleagues.

**GENERAL**
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
- Adhere to dress, equipment and personal hygiene standards at all times.
- Attend work when required by checking the rota on a regular basis.
- Adhere to Health & Safety, Fire, Food Safety and licensing regulations at all times.
- Notify the manager on duty of any accidents.
- Notify the manager on duty when leaving the floor.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pitlochry: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
