Falck Ambulance Services are looking for Team Leaders to join their busy operational team on our site in Camberwell, East London (SE5 9RS). This role would be supervising a team of Ambulance Care Assistants (ACA’s) & Intermediate Care Technicians (ICT’s) to support them with their induction into the business and their development within their role.

**We are recruiting for the following shift pattern**:
Monday to Friday - 45 working hours per week - Flexible shift pattern to accommodate working shifts between the hours of 7am to 7pm

What will I be doing?

Being a Team Leader is a key role within our business as you are responsible for leading and motivating a team to ensure we are providing a high quality service to our patients by demonstrating (but not limited to):
Being a positive role model and coach to your team, by providing expert supervision and guidance on everyday practical issues to help them develop their knowledge and skills

Supporting the team with regular 1-2-1’s and feedback to improve overall team performance

Welcoming and facilitating the on boarding of new colleagues into your team to ensure they fully embed within their role and the wider team

Resolving general queries around (but not limited to); pay, annual leave, overtime, site communications, etc

Deputising for the Shift Manager as and when required

What experience will I need?

Experience of leading and managing a team - essential

Experience of working towards KPI’s

A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Comfortable with working in an environment of change, with flexible approach to new challenges

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel

Calm under pressure
