Transport Planner

**Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning transport routes, ensuring timely delivery of services, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. This position is vital for maintaining our reputation for reliability in the transport industry. Our delivery performance within the Palletline network is 98.5%.

**Responsibilities**
- Planning second run routes and allocating collections.
- Driver pre and de-brief.
- Deal with driver queries to enable them to keep moving and minimise delays.
- Ensure that delivery and collection times are monitored and achieved.
- Proactive actions to make sure our commitment to both customers and depots are met.
- Resource planning to get our customers the best service and price.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in transport planning.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential.
- Experience with Live Data, Sirius, Contrado systems would be advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £34,000.00 per year
