Baildon, Shipley, BD17 7JW**
- **Salary £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience**

Since 1996, Newland Insurance Brokers have provided specialist insurance products and services to both the commercial and personal lines market. Newland's offices are located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and have a special focus on supporting small to mediumsized local businesses.

As a Broking Executive, you will generate new business leads and build relationships with existing clients by managing renewals, answering queries, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Build relationships with clients
- Negotiate to provide the most suitable terms with insurers and clients
- Understand the provisions of each policy and communicate this information to the customer
- Share client information with insurance carriers to determine which products are best to recommend
- Act as liaison between insurers and clients
- Prepare reports for insurance underwriters
- Research insurance trends, policies and products
- Process renewals and mid-term adjustments

**Experience and qualifications**
- Proven experience in a commercial background (ideally 2 to 3 years’ experience)
- Acturis experience and being Cert C11 qualified is preferred but not essential

- Excellent attention to detail so you can update relevant systems and complete general admin tasks accurately and in a timely manner

- You will be analytical and use your findings to adapt accordingly
