**Head of Data (Digital)**

I am looking for a heavyweight **Data Manager / Head of Data** to work in a large, fast moving **Digital organisation**. This will be **a strategic role** where you will own a **development roadmap and dependency plan to deliver the data strategy** in collaboration with key partners (e.g., technology, marketing, data, legal, and product). There is an emphasis of getting the maximum out of the **CRM systems**. From a technical standpoint you need to have a deep understanding of **Data Lake infrastructures, Data Warehouses, Analysis Platforms, CDP's, and Campaign Management / Recommendation Engine Tooling**. Experience in data management, including - **data governance, transformation,complex relational modelsand GDPR is also expected.**

This is a typical **fast paced digital environment** and experience of working as a **product owner / project manager** (an **understanding of agile development principles and methodologies**) is expected. Ideally I want someone who has experience in the **Retail or Hospitality arena** especially if you are looking for the top end of the salary. **Development is outsourced** but you will have a small internal team as well.

Must have **excellent stakeholder management** and used to presenting and influencing in a matrixed environment. You will be expected to go into the **offices 1 / 2 days a week**, ideally in **West Midlands** but can take someone from London as long as they are happy to go to Birmingham 1 day a week.
