**Job Title**: HR Administrator (Maternity Leave Cover - 12 months FTC) **Location**: London-based, Hybrid **Reports to**: HR Manager **About ECCO** ECCO is a global leader in innovative comfort footwear, known for high-quality craftsmanship and modern design. We are currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave cover. This role is London-based, hybrid, and will report directly to the HR Manager based in Ireland. **Key Responsibilities** As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions across the UK, with tasks including but not limited to: - **Employee Records Management**: Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring that all change forms, probation documents, and APR forms are correctly filed. - **Employee Onboarding**: Managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and setup in all relevant systems. - **Payroll Support**: Assisting with payroll-related inquiries, managing tax codes for new employees, and liaising with payroll team to ensure accuracy. - **Contract and Offer Letter Creation**: Drafting and issuing employment contracts, offer letters, and other employment documentation. - **Sickness and Absence Management**: Tracking employee sickness and absences, ensuring compliance with company policies. - **Probation Management**: Assisting with the management and tracking of probation periods, ensuring timely reviews. - **Training Setup**: Setting up employees on our Retail Academy training platform. - **Redundancy Support**: Assisting with any ongoing redundancy processes, providing administrative and procedural support. - **Investigation/Disciplinary Meetings**: Providing support during ad hoc investigation and disciplinary meetings. - **Health and Safety**: Assisting with maintaining health and safety records and documentation. - **Right to Work (RTW) Checks**: Conducting RTW checks for employees, specifically monitoring time-limited visas and maintaining compliance. - **References**: Managing reference requests and verifications for current and former employees. - **Supporting with Store Visits/Training**: HR support with Managers or RMs, small amount of travel involved. **Key Skills & Qualifications** - Strong communication and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail. - Proven experience in HR administration, ideally within a similar industry or retail environment. - Proficiency with HR systems such as **SAP**, **Tamigo**, and **ADP **(preferred). - Strong knowledge of **Excel** and other Microsoft Office programs. - **Strong recruitment experience** with the ability to lead and manage full-cycle recruitment independently. - Highly **self-motivated**, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. **Working Conditions** - This is a hybrid role, your office will be based in our Oxford Street Store as a base. **Contract** - This is a 12-month Maternity Cover Contract. **To Apply** If you have the required experience and are ready to take on this exciting challenge, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your suitability for the role. **Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract Contract length: 12 months **Benefits**: - Company pension - Employee discount - Life insurance - Private medical insurance - Store discount Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Application question(s): - "Do you hold any formal HR qualifications or certifications (e.g., CIPD, degree in Human Resources, or related field)? **Experience**: - HR Administrator: 1 year (required) - Recruitment: 2 years (required) - UK Employment Law: 2 years (required) **Location**: - London (required) Work Location: In person Reference ID: HR Administrator (Maternity Leave Cover - 12 months FTC) Expected start date: 22/11/2024
