**Team Leader - Manufacturing Operations - Shifts**
**Location: Nottingham, NG90 2PR**
**Salary: Up to £26,000 plus benefits, including shift allowance**

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a **Team Leader** to join the Pharma Manufacturing Operations team.

You will be part of a leading international FMCG organisation manufacturing cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. We are offering a competitive salary along with a generous benefits package.

**The role is full-time, rotating day shifts, 6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm**

You will take accountability for a shift production team within Manufacturing for the delivery of safety, quality, cost and service targets for our customers as well as for performance managing individuals within your team.

Lead, engage and motivate your team and develop the capability that fosters a can do attitude and drives a positive attitude to change, performance and customer service.

Proactively manage continuous improvement activities within your team to support the improvement of operations and to ensure an excellent customer service is maintained and achieved at all times.

**Key Accountabilities**
- To proactively develop and maintain a safe working environment within the team by promoting safe working practices through auditing, management control and action.
- To maximise team and individual performance through motivation, training, communication and full involvement of staff to develop a self-managed, flexible and motivated team with the capability to drive their own performance standards.
- To ensure product quality conformance at all times, delivering to product quality targets, and to ensure GMP is to agreed standards, including hygiene.
- To drive productivity and performance of all operations assets within the team to deliver agreed targets
- To deliver agreed On Time and In Full service levels to our customers, taking necessary actions where appropriate to sustain performance.
- To participate in customer and regulatory audits that impacts the team and own any resulting action plans.
- To lead waste reduction within the team to specific targets working with expert business improvement colleagues.
- To be the quality and technical adviser for the team, ensuring that the team has the required competence to solve standard quality and technical issues

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast pace manufacturing environment.
- You will have demonstrable management skills with the ability to successfully lead culturally diverse teams as well as managing individuals working on different contract types including permanent and complimentary staff.
- You will be a strong and influential leader with the ability to motivate and engage individuals / teams cross functionally. You will have the ability to lead by example and strive to make a positive impact on the delivery of our service to customers.
- Key to the success of this role is your ability to build effective working relationships / partnering with our unions, suppliers and customers.
- You must have an adaptable and open approach in working hours including working on a 2 shift pattern and with moving business priorities.
