Activities Co-ordinator

**Milnsbridge, Huddersfield**
We are looking to recruit a full time activity coordinator, working in a 20 bed residential care home for the elderly, primarily people with dementia. The activities co-ordinator will be responsible for providing stimulation and encouragement to residents through entertainment, activities and community links.
Full support will be given in terms of schedule planning, organisation and resources.
Relevant qualifications can be obtained if desired - cost met by employer.
Experience working in residential or nursing care for the elderly and experience of people with dementia - preferred but not essential.
**Essential** - Enthusiastic, kind, caring and friendly personality.
Organisational skills are a must in planning and delivering activity sessions
Ability to hold group activities and engage with a range of individuals.
Applicants must have some flexibility across Monday - Sunday.
Hours of work are 9:30-5.00.
Disclosure and Barring service check compulsory for this role - cost payable by applicant.
Covid vaccination mandatory
**Salary**: From £10.10 per hour
