Purchase Ledger Assistant

A rare opportunity has arisen with a leading global logistics business for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. This company are growing year on year and as a result are looking to add additional heads to their Finance Team making it an excellent time to join the business. They offer an excellent work place environment with high levels of staff retention. This is a highly sought after organisation to work for.

The Purchase Ledger Assistant role will be 100% office based in Heywood. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:

- Processing large Batches of Supplier Invoices
- Preparation of Supplier Payments
- Processing of Supplier Credit notes
- Investigating Invoice queries & liaising with Suppliers
- Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Processing Staff Expenses
- Multi-Currency bank transaction posting
- Ad hoc tasks

**The Successful Applicant**:
Have previous experience in Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger

Ideally be confident on Excel to Vlookup level

Be able to commute to Heywood office
