Production Laboratory Manager

Degree in Biology, Microbiology or similar scientific field (biomedical, biological)
- Good laboratory management or laboratory supervisory experience
- Production industry knowledge / experience - experience of producing / manufacturing products in a production lab for clients and customers
- Audits experience and knowledge
- ability to prepare and carry out regulatory Audits and customer audits
- Excellent leadership/ management skills, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact,lead, manage and motivate a small lab department of 15 and be responsible for them

Desirable;
- ERP systems (E8, EFACS or other ERP systems)
- 5’s processes and lean manufacturing experience
- Experience of lab management in a pharmaceutical, cosmetic, biological, medical devices, life science,scientific testing production or similar healthcare products industry would be of interest

The production laboratory manager will be part of the senior leadership team and be responsible for 15 professionals within the department and laboratory. The production lab supervisor will be responsible for the following;
- Manufacturing, developing, auditing and validating and carrying out process improvement of the company’s bespoke healthcare products
- Producing annual production plans to meet budget and sales, maintain quality standards, identify and manage production efficiency
- Managing & maintaining production levels to meet the customer demand for products and carrying out regular customer audits and regulatory audits.
- Follow 5’s processes and efficient manufacturing best practices
