Our Swindon site is looking for a **Maintenance Scheduler** to work within our engineering function to manage the core-planning framework for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance and calibration work, promoting consistency and site wide integrated work Catalent Swindon facility.

When organizing Scheduled maintenance work, scheduling is the “When” and the “Where” and this is the responsibility of the **Maintenance Scheduler. **They are a liaison contact and coordinator between the Maintenance Managers and the Customers in production.

Working alongside the Engineering management to deliver an effective maintenance schedule the role would include:
**The Role**
- To be responsible for ensuring both efficient and effective planning and scheduling of maintenance work for all calibration and maintenance assets
- To work closely with the production planning team to maximise plant availability and to meet production requirements
- Responsible for creating and regularly updating a work plan for all PPM's and the tracking and reporting of all work orders; planned and preventative for the Engineering teams and generating relevant KPI's.
- Develop and implement robust and simple processes to manage Engineering activities across Catalent. Where local systems and processes already exist either challenge or build upon these to deliver optimum efficiency, effectiveness and consistency.
- As the JD Edwards facilities System Controller, provide oversight of both Planned and Preventative maintenance compliance through self-audits and assist as a Subject Matter Expert on planning and scheduling for Engineering on external audits.
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths & English
- Relevant Scheduling qualifications and/or experience in relevant field or comparable qualification, or currently studying for relevant qualification
- IT literate with demonstrable Microsoft Office skills, including Word, and specifically Excel/spreadsheets
- Adaptable, Proactive and resilient
- Team player
