**Responsibilities**
- Conduct advanced NDT testing
- Work flexibly around customer requirements and visit client sites for testing when required.
- Be advanced in a number of NDT methods and software such as Eddyfi LYFT system RMS, Silverwing corrosion mapping systems, Omniscan or M2M corrosion mapping systems.
- Produce interim and final reports, detailing descriptions of examination and anomalies stating suitability for service in accordance with regulations such as IACS Class Rules, ASME/ASNT, API and PED.
- Consistently maintain a record of daily activities
- Execute corrosion mapping and welding inspection
- Utilise Ultrasonic and Eddy Current methods on marine and offshore structures
- Create detailed technical reports for corrosion mapping
- Inform management if/when the non-destructive equipment is not fit for purpose
- Assist in ensuring that equipment is calibrated, and functionality checks are undertaken

**The Person**
- Previous experience working in an NDT role
- Extensive knowledge of marine and offshore structures
- Knowledge of condition monitoring and diagnostic engineering techniques
- PCN Level 2 in Eddy Current testing (Forgings/Welds/Tubes), Ultrasonic testing, Phased array ultrasonic testing and basic surface method of testing (VT, MT or PT)
- Experience in corrosion mapping surveys
- Previous experience in either Eddyfi LYFT, Reddy ECA, M2M R Scan Array, Olympus Hydroform & Silverwing RMS & Floormap
- Experience with AutoCAD- interpreting and editing schematics
- Good understanding of internationally accepted codes, standards, and practices
- Must have a driving licence due to travel around UK sites.
