An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy midwifery team as a Health Care Assistant.
Recent experience in providing direct patient care in a clinical setting is essential. Experience in undertaking patient observations would be advantageous. Previous experience working in maternity theatre is desirable
You will be expected to work flexibly across the maternity unit covering the 24 hour rota.
Applicants should have a commitment to training and development.
We also want to increase our Health Care Assistant bank. HCAs interested in joining our bank will benefit from a choice of shift patterns and flexible working, holiday allowance, NHS pension scheme and weekly or monthly pay included
The post holder is required to participate in a 24hr shift pattern.
**Hours per week**: Full and part-time hours available.
The role of the Health Care Assistant is to support the Midwife and the Maternity Care Assistant in the delivery of high quality and evidence-based care, by assisting in direct care or by helping with general ward organisation. The post holder is required to participate in a 24hr shift pattern.
