We are looking for someone who can work with vulnerable young people through counselling and practical support. The Youth Worker Lead will be expected to create a safe, supportive environment for the young people that our organisation supports through one-on-one and group work sessions. We're interested in hiring an experienced person who can work well with others, want to make a difference in the lives of young people and be willing to go above-and-beyond as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Explore social and economic issues.
- Strategically plan interventions and activities to address these issues.
- Provide counseling services to individual young people.
- Hold a criminal records check (DBS) or be willing to undertake one.
- Be able to work with youth in non-traditional ways.
- Teach youth about the issues they face.
- Support youth in becoming active members of their communities.
- Abiility to lead a team of other youth workers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £9.00-£11.00 per hour
