We’re Norwood, a leading charity supporting people with learning disabilities from the Jewish and wider community.
Each year Norwood supports over 2,500 people from children and families facing challenges in their lives due to additional educational needs, mental health, or severe wellbeing issues to anyone of any age with learning disabilities or autism.
We’re looking for Support Workers and our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own Could this be you?
You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications - we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent Support worker.

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, as a general guide, duties will include support with personal care needs (toilet/shower/bathing), as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
- PAY: £9.22 - £9.98 Per Hour
- Fully paid 7-day induction in Stanmore

- We’ll pay for your DBS
- Ongoing coaching and support
- Opportunity to undertake a NVQ up to level 5 in health and social care (we pay for it)
- Permanent, Part-time and Bank contracts are available from 0 to 39 hours per week (availability must be flexible between the hours of 7am to 10pm, 7 days a week as working hours will change regularly and include overnight sleep -ins)
- Overtime available
