**Job description**:
We are looking for a warehouse assistant to help with the running of our online auctions.

We are a family run company that was established in 1974. In 2020 Kingsland Auctions went from weekly general Auctions to Online Auctions, selling a wide variety of stock from some of the high street’s biggest names like Wayfair, Amazon, John Lewis, Dunelm etc.

**Warehouse work**:
The warehouse work will be laying out and lotting up stock for our upcoming auctions, which will always vary from auction to auction and will mainly consist of furniture, electricals, tools, home accessories etc (so may involve some lifting).

This role will consist of breaking down pallets of stocks into individual lots where you will be required to take multiple images and add item descriptions into excel, so some keyboard skills are needed.

You may also be helping with customers that are collecting lots purchased from finished auctions and we do some local deliveries in busy periods.

A forklift is used to unload and load lorries (a forklift licence is an advantage, if not forklift training will be provided).

**Your work as Warehouse Operative**:
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a growing company with a young friendly team that is expanding with new warehouse and offices recently completed so we can hold more online auctions.

Helping set up our Online Auctions which includes moving sale items into the appropriate lots.

Use of forklift, training will be provided if you have no experience.

Dealing with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.

IT Skills, when lotting up an auction using Excel when needed. Therefore, keyboard skills are needed.

Taking clear photographs of lots for the online auction site..

Full driving license.

**Working Hours**:
3 Days per week from 9am to 5pm. The one day must include a Friday, we are flexible with the other two weekdays.

**Job Type**: Part time.

**Salary**: £11.55 per hour.
