**Role**:

- Production of fee proposals, fire strategy reports and other relevant documentation as and when required of Senior Fire Safety Engineer.
- Be mentor and lead of 2-3 fire engineers.
- Calculations of evacuation times - Means of Escape
- Solve, with support, fire engineering calculations including radiant heat, smoke control and occupant
- Third Party Review/Design
- Assessment and understanding of the main UK fire safety legislation and standards applied to buildings from a Fire Safety Engineer's perspective.

**The Senior Fire Engineer**:

- A creatively geared person who can understand risk and provide
- A basis of understanding commercial management and resourcing from Senior Fire Safety Engineer's point of view.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A degree in Fire Engineering or equivalent Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Fire Engineer
- IFE/IFSM Membership desirable
- An understanding of ADB, BS 9999 and BS
- Working knowledge of regulatory controls and a proven ability to develop and implement fire engineered design solutions in the built
