**RME Consultants are recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader to join a highly successful, growing eco-friendly and organic Nursery in St Albans, Hertfordshire.**

**Role - Nursery Room Leader**

**Contract - Permanent, Full Time**

**Hours - Monday - Friday (40 hours)**

**Location - St Albans, Hertfordshire**

**Salary - £25,500 - £27,000 per annum**

**Duties of the Nursery Room Leader**:

- **You will lead and inspire your team whilst maintaining a safe, secure and caring environment in which you can deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences.**:

- **You will ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted.**:

- **You will provide high standards of care and early learning.**:

- **You will play an active role in your team with the delivery of the curriculum to the children, be an outstanding role model to your team and contribute to the Management team**
**Requirements of Nursery Room Leader**:

- **Early Years Childcare Level 3 qualification or equivalent (please note, health and social care qualifications are not suitable)**:

- **To ensure the provision of high standards of physical, personal, social and emotional care.**:

- **To follow the nursery safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well and secure and ensure all team members are able to do the same.**:

- **Support all team members with the early identification and intervention for children with possible special needs and give physical, emotional, intellectual guidance as appropriate.**:

- **To ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.**:

- **To lead a team of professional workers and to ensure good practice at all times.**
