Oakdale, part of Abode Care Homes, is a family run home. We pride ourselves on our high quality care, we believe that happiness is home-made.

We are a 27 bed residential care home where many of our clients have Dementia.

We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and caring person who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life of older people within our home.

The role will include organizing meaningful, stimulating and entertaining activities for groups and individual clients. We also welcome new ideas for activities, events, trips out and fundraising.

Individual to liaise with families, other staff members and external event providers and to maintain records of activities for individual care plans.

The role will be for 2 days per week on a 2 week rota, Mon/Wed & Wed/Fri.

Hours of work are 10am to 4pm.

Flexibilty to cover holiday and sickness of other staff members may be required, and candidiate may be required to cover Saturdays.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-18 per week

**Salary**: £10.75 per hour
