The AA 5* Sun Inn located in the picturesque South Lakeland town of Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria requires a Restaurant and Bar Assistant to support our team deliver a high standard of professional and friendly service to all of our guests.

An ability to offer a warm and friendly welcome with a personal touch to our guests. A good knowledge of food and drink. You can bring smiles. You enjoy your work and can make time for some fun along the way.

Role requires some multi-tasking as we are a small Inn, preparing and running of the evening restaurant service, helping on the bar, provide table service, order taking, cash handling, telephone bookings, check in and check out of the hotel and a variety of other tasks critical to the smooth running of the Inn. You will support the General Manager in all aspects of training, recruitment and development of the team.

Shifts are varied and include weekend work with 1 over night duty manager shift looking after the Inn. We aim to agree a regular pattern so you can plan your social time and strike a good work/life balance.

Opportunity for development and progression within the Inn.

Full time - 5 shifts per week, share of tips to about £2000.00, pension and 28 days holiday per year.
