**Contract - Network Architect/Network Design Consultant - London/Hybrid - 6 months**

We are representing one of our financial services customers in London who are looking for **Network Architect/Network Design Consultant**who will be responsible for supporting core technologies and business-initiated projects across multiple locations and up to 5,000 employees.

Your expertise in Cisco R&S and ACI, ASA, WiFi, ISE & TACACS, Fortinet NGFWs & Proxy, Palo Alto NGFW, F5 GTM LTM AFM WAF, Infoblox DDI, Forescout, Bluecoat proxies, Meraki and Akamai will be put to use in crafting end-to-end designs, engineering deploymentsand managing support capabilities.

We are also looking for someone with a strategic mindset—someone who can think long-term about solutions that work for the entire organisation. To deliver great service to our customers, both internal and external, through strong technical knowledge as part of the Network Engineering and Architecture function within Enterprise Networks for Gibbs Hybrid. Overall responsibility for supporting CoreTech as well as Business initiated projects across all segments of Gibbs Hybrid’s customer base. This covers the following main functional areas:

- Core Data Centre
- Carrier Neutral DC’s
- WAN / LAN
- WiFi
- Cloud SAAS services
- Security Infrastructure
- AWS/Azure landing zones (High Level understanding)
- Authentication Services and Tooling
- Application awareness

**_Technologies & Accountabilities_**:

- CISCO R&S and ACI, CISCO ASA, CISCO WiFi, ISE and TACACS, Fortinet NGFWs and Proxy, Palo Alto NGFW, F5 GTM LTM AFM WAF, Infoblox DDI, Forescout, Bluecoat proxies, Meraki, Akamai.
- End-to-end design, engineering, deployment (through MSP) and support within projects delivery. Will require close collaboration with Suppliers of IT services to and internal Stakeholders.
- Prime focus on Network CoreTech projects, shared between members of Network Engineering and Architecture function, including Core DC LAN and OOB network remediation/improvements; Carrier Neutral Facility new design and migration; Network Taps; SD-WAN andWiFi PoC
- Gather network technical requirements for network and security components needed to deliver Networks initiated projects.
- Translate the requirements into a Solution Design Document with functional and non-functional high level of details.
- Be the Technical Bridge between Networks and the rest of the organisation for project related matters.
- Interface with 3rd Parties and Vendors in order to define network capabilities to support Business requirements.
- Work with Managed Service Provider to make sure they provide correct technical output and delivery of the solutions.
- Technically support project delivery. Troubleshoot project related issues when deployments don’t work as expected.
