We have great opportunities for 10 X LGV 2 Drivers / Cat C Drivers / Class 2 Drivers, working for our client out of their Bicester depot, carrying out multidrop deliveries of food products to various customers throughout the UK. The average start time willbe between 0400-0600 working an average of 48hrs per week. Shifts are any 5 from 6, therefore you will be required to work some Saturdays but not all.
The routes can vary on a day-to-day basis but there will also be deliveries to regular customers too, meaning a good mix of deliveries to new and familiar customers.
Due to working hours drivers must live within a 45-minute commute of Bicester.
New passes welcome.
IMMEDIATE STARTS are available for drivers who can demonstrate a high level of driving competence, with a flexible approach and good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
Adhere to company procedures and regulations
Work to timed deliveries, while adhering to tachograph rules and regulations
Carry out daily vehicle checks
Carry out customer deliveries in a safe and timely manner
Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
Comply with Health & Safety procedures
Comply with relevant legislation in food safety and chill chain standards
Ensure refrigerated units are set and controlled to relevant temperatures
Carry out any other duties within their skill base
To be a successful HGV 2 Driver, LGV 2, Cat C, Class 2 Driver, you will have the following skills and experiences:
Must hold an HGV 2 UK driving licence
Have a maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes
Hold a valid CPC DQC
Have excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations
Have excellent Customer Service skills
Be of smart appearance and have good communication skills as this is a customer facing role
