Customer Service Advisor

Purpose: To support the Customer Service Supervisor by playing an active role in the day to day activities of the Customer Service team, dealing with both internal and external customers effectively and efficiently and ensuring company levels of serviceare maintained. Main Responsibilities: 1. Order book management; co-ordinating customer deliveries from a UK Distribution Centre and European plants. 2. Process daily & weekly orders in "Process" to ensure customer orders and collection requests are actioned correctly via order and delivery date to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and added value. 3. EDI order management; ensure customer information, contact details, contract details, EDI details, delivery addresses etc. are continually correct. 4. Effectively deal with customer query processing and resolution using the customer query system and where necessary refer to the department Manager. 5. Deal with customer credits effectively to ensure the company minimises waste costs whilst delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. 6. Handle and resolve customer technical enquiries, forwarding highly technical queries to technical specialists. 7. Build positive and effective working relationships with all customers - internal and external. 8. Closely work with and support all departments within the UK AM & OE Sales Team to ensure customers are provided with a quality service. 9. Work to achieve and exceed the department KPIs and personal objectives Required Skills & Experience: - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Time-management - Organisation - Multitasking and prioritising - Managing interpersonal relationships - Problem solving - Being analytical - Being professional and approachable - Experience of working in a customer service environment - Proven ability to handle customer queries Details: - Place of work: Trafford Park, Manchester, 4 days per week (Free parking) Horwich, Bolton, 1 day per week (Free parking) - Salary: The salary for this role is dependent on experience and skill set up to £23,000 per annum. - Bonus: Participation in the Annual Incentive Plan at 10% - Probationary period: 6 months - Hours of work: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday with an unpaid lunch break of 30 mins - Notice period: 1 month - Pension: 5% employee, 5% employer - Holidays: 25 plus bank holidays - Sick Pay: Full pay for 9 months KEYWORDS: customer, query, distribution, orders, service, office Unfortunately due to time restrictions we cannot respond to every applicant, in the event that we haven’t contacted you within 48 hours please take it you have not been successful for this particular role, but your details will be kept on file and consideredfor all future vacancies.
