Sunday Supervisor at The Deal Store

Pilgrims Hospices is looking for a Sunday Supervisor to join the team in our Deal Store, helping to support our retail managers, staff and volunteers with their day-to-day duties.

**The Role**

As the Sunday Supervisor at the Deal Store, you will assist the retail operations and ensure that they are a successful source of income generation whilst maintaining a good rapport with the wider retail team. Your main responsibilities will include:

- To support the Retail Manager with the day to day running of the shop.
- Meeting agreed financial targets.
- Maintaining effective stock management and merchandising.
- Managing and training volunteers.
- Carrying out shop administration.
- Ensuring adequate security.
- Following health and safety policy & procedures and giving training when needed..
- Implementing and ensuring the growth or our Gift Aid scheme.

**Working Arrangements**

This is a permanent, part-time role (7 hrs per week) and is based at Pilgrims Hospices Deal Store. Working day will be **every Sunday**.

- Experience working in a target-driven retail environment.
- Entrepreneurial and commercial mind.
- A good standard of numeracy and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, personable and able to relate to volunteers

**Salary**: £4534.40 per annum
