**Children's Residential Support Worker**
**Location**: Chorley
**Salary**: Up to £32,617 per annum
**Hours**: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours per week) with a flexible shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and an average of two sleep-ins per week (included in salary). Voluntary overtime is also available.

As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a crucial part of a passionate team, helping vulnerable young people through their challenges and creating positive change in their lives.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
As a Residential Support Worker, your role will include:
- **Supporting daily routines**: Supporting children with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities to help them develop independence
- **Educational support**: Encouraging and supporting children in their learning journey, assisting with homework, and helping them develop new skills
- **Leading recreational activities**: Organising and leading recreational activities, including fun events and holidays, to increase engagement and enhance well-being.
- **Emotional support**: Providing guidance, care, and person-centred support to help children navigate difficult moments
- **Documentation**: Completing care plans, reports, and maintaining accurate records.
- **Maintaining a safe environment**: Ensuring the home is clean, secure, and well-organised
- **Team collaboration**: Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, nurturing environment

Previous experience in residential care is preferred but not essential—we provide full training to support your success in the role.
