A prestigious national charity, who work to improve health and care across the country and who have never been more needed, is looking for an Interim Governance Manager to support them for at least the next five months. This is an excellent opportunity fora experienced governance professional to join an impactful and very commercial charity.

As Interim Governance Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

- Delivering high-quality support to the Board, its Committees, the General Advisory Council and other governance bodies
- Managing corporate meeting/reporting cycle and schedule, ensuring governance meetings have clear agendas and supporting documentation
- Supporting processes for assurance including risk management and key controls
- Providing governance advice to Board members
- Drafting papers and other documentation in a concise, clear manner to tight timescales
- Be Chartered Governance Institute part or fully qualified
- Have experience in a governance role within a more challenging/complex charity
- Be able to work both strategically and in a very hands-on way
- Have proven experience providing governance advice to Board members (or equivalent)
- This role falls inside of IR35 - the day rate (£340 - £400 per day DOE) is on the basis of working via an umbrella company. A PAYE equivalent rate is also an option._
- This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week working from the Central London office._
