**What we do**
We provide care, recovery and intensive rehabilitation support for Dementia & Mental Health patients 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We have care homes in **Dartford, Erith, Lewisham**, **Belvedere**, **Woolwich **and **Sydenham**. Our main objective is to support our residents in their day to day living routines and self care, with a view that they will move on to independent living or lower supported living.
**What we are looking for**
**Note: all staff are required to be able to work some weekends in a month.**
The core skills we are looking for are: i**ncredible compassion for others, strong life skills and experience, family oriented character and a lively and excellent communicator.**
Our staff needs to be:
- Passionate about care, helping people and wants to make a difference in people's lives
- Talkative, Personable and good at connecting with people
- Strong of character - able to be firm but nice
- Able to influence and motivate people positively
- Adaptable and quick to learn
- Influence positive outcome from difficult situations and challenging people
- Punctual and reliable
- Work in a team and also able to work alone
Personal experience in care with members of a family or raising teenage children would also be beneficial.
Please note that these positions are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All applicants will be required to undergo a check with the Criminal Records Bureau prior to employment.
