You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, implementing care, and fostering a supportive environment for those in you care for. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and other staff.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Implement and follow care plans tailored to the needs of each individual.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition to senior staff.
- Engage clients in social activities and promote their emotional well-being through companionship.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
- Administering Medication.
**Skills**
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a care home setting or providing home care is highly desirable.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
Work Location: On the road
