**About Guardhog Limited**:

The role will provide non-adjusting claims management services to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the Claims team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Claims Processing:

- Review and assess insurance claims to ensure they are complete and accurate.
- Verify policy information and coverage details.
- Investigate and gather necessary information to evaluate the validity of claims.
- Determine the extent of coverage and assess claim amounts.
- Complying with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures, and regulations.

Communication:

- Communicate with policyholders, Brokers, loss adjusters and other relevant parties to gather information and provide updates.
- Explain claim processes, coverage, and settlement details to claimants.
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners to facilitate the claims resolution process.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

- Maintain organized and comprehensive claim files.
- Document all communication and actions taken during the claims process.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Customer Service:

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers in understanding the claims process and guide them through necessary steps.
- Operating as an effective team member by supporting colleagues and contributing to the delivery and achievement of overall team and business objectives

Negotiation and Settlement:

- Negotiate settlements with claimants and other involved parties.
- Evaluate settlement options based on policy terms and conditions.

Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough reviews of claims to identify errors or discrepancies.
- Implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the claims process.

Adherence to Policies and Regulations:

- Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Staying up with continuous personal development (CPD)

Reporting:

- Prepare and present reports on claims processing metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in insurance claims processing or a related FCA field.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claim procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with insurance software and systems is a plus.

- Salary range £25-28,000 depending on experience.
- Location: Hybrid, Stockbridge SO20 8DR

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
