Homecare services support almost one million older and disabled people across the UK each year, to continue living in their own homes - the preference for most people.

Our client is the professional association for homecare providers. Together we make sure that all of us can live well at home and flourish within our communities.

The DBS team also works with the Association’s members to provide administrative support with the management of a National Partnership with Skills for Care for disseminating the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) to eligible homecare providers. This fund isdispersed to homecare providers to help with the costs of training staff, in exchange for submitting workforce data to Skills for Care’s database, which informs government decision-making on the social care workforce.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Being a countersignatory for the Association and undertaking all responsibilities attached to this (i.e.e accuracy checking).
- Providing an advisory service on disclosure matters to members of the Association.
- Accessing and being fully conversant with the Criminal Justice Secure Mail system (CJSM).
- Assisting with the filing and storage of sensitive, confidential information as detailed in the Disclosure and Barring Service code of practice.
- Assisting with the administration of the Association’s national partnership for disseminating the Workforce Development Fund to eligible homecare providers, in line with the grant conditions and requirement for record keeping and reporting.
- Compiling relevant documents to support the audit requests for funding provided by Skills for Care.
- Providing telephone support to the DBS team and the wider office.

This role would suit an experienced Administrator seeking a new opportunity.

**Skills, knowledge, and experience required, include**:

- Previous experience with Disclosure and Barring Service is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work accurately, with first-rate analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with strong customer service ethos.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft packages including Word and Excel and Apple programs.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills, with ability to work productively and efficiently.
