My client is a chartered financial planner firm, providing independent and impartial financial planning advice who recruit, train, reward and retain the best people and have an excellent team who all have a high level of personal ability and professionalism.
Function of the role
To provide research and report writing support to the Directors and Advisers

Major areas of responsibility
- Undertaking research and drafting reports to enable the Directors/Advisers to provide advice to clients in all aspects of personal and corporate financial planning
- Implementation of new business
- Research and review of new and existing legislation and technical/product information
- Assisting with production of bulletins to professional introducers
- Researching and drafting reports to professional introducers such as Solicitors and Accountants
- Assisting with complex administration matters for clients' small self administered pension schemes and self invested personal pensions
- Assisting with client and general administration when required
- Attending client meetings when requested
- Assisting with seminars for professional introducers and clients
- Assisting with written communications for marketing campaigns
- Attending marketing, networking and training and competence meetings
- Adhering to rules governing compliance and training and competence
- Have a background within a similar role (IFA administration/paraplanning)
- Be working towards or have financial planning certificates although this is not a must
