**Role Title**: Digital Designer

**Reports To**: Marketing Director

**Department**: Marketing

**Role Purpose**:
At Direct Heating Group we are after a talented and enthusiastic digital designer to work on our collection of e-commerce sites.
Working within the homeware sector we are looking for someone to help inspire our customers with best in class, creative graphics as well as help them navigate the websites with data driven page designs eliminating friction and providing enthusiasm.

Key Accountabilities / Key Activities **Asset Creation**
- Produce functional, best practice website page designs with a mobile first approach, focusing on usability and performance which is driven by data
- Implement these designs live on site via Magento Pagebuilder
- Provide content to support promotional/trading plans
- Support web development roadmap supporting & inputting UX designs, challenging current designs to drive increased KPI’s/metrics
- Be innovative and implement new ideas
- Demonstration of excellent technical understanding and attention to detail

- Organisation of daily workload
- Management of production schedule of design outputs from briefing stage
- Adhere to our brand guidelines ensuring creative is on brand and produced in a customer focused manner
- Support all elements of the technical process and suggest workable solutions to enhance production and quality including software/equipment upgrades

Essential role related knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience at selection
- Self motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision
- Must be a positive leader who brings energy and passion to their work.
- The ability to deliver high quality imagery with consistency.
- An ambitious personality demonstrating a willingness to learn and develop the role.
- Flexible in their approach to working hours with a strong work ethic.
- Delivery of required performance levels and KPIs.
- A solid understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop
- Commercial awareness and experience
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A keen eye for detail to ensuring work is delivered to the highest quality
- Ideally looking for someone with a background in fashion/home/lifestyle markets.
- Someone who can think outside of the box creating strong campaign led ideas to make a step change to the assets we have for our brands
- Experience in producing social media video content, UGC, trends in social media and it would be useful but not essential to have worked previously with bloggers, celebs
- An understanding of UX, ecommerce best practice & customer journey / experience obsessed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
