**Critical Facilities Shift Engineer**
**Location: Slough**
**Reports to: Shift Supervisor**
**The Company**
We are working with one of the fastest growing client sided Data Centre companies in the EMEA region. With multiple thriving sites up in the West London area there is a clear pathway for long term development on both the newer and more established facilities.
**The Position**
You would be working directly for the client and looking after the company's flagship Data Centre facility in Slough. For this role you will be required to work as part of the continental shift engineering team. You will work closely with the day supervisorand the rest of the engineering team.
We are looking for someone with a good knowledge and understanding of Critical Mechanical & Electrical Equipment. As a key member of the engineering team, you will responsible for the inspection, operation and maintenance of all associated assets within theData Centre, with a primary focus on relevant Electrical & Mechanical asset maintenance (Planned, Reactive and Corrective). Longer term there is the opportunity to develop into a HV Authorised Person for the site and you will actively contribute to the successfuldelivery of all critical works.
**Could this be for you?**
Qualifications & Knowledge
- Experience in facilities, operations or engineering; ideally but not necessarily in a Datacentre critical environment
- Demonstrable experience in operating and fault finding complex and integrated Electrical & Mechanical Equipment (generators, UPS, AHU's, Cooling systems etc.)
- Electrically or Mechanically qualified to a good level
