**Self Employed Position**

Operating Ambulance shifts to convey Mental Health patients and Non Urgent patient transfers (PTS) in accordance to the operational procedures and directives of the clients in which you are operating on behalf and in accordance to the training levels you have received.

To work as part of a double or single crewed to convey Mental Health/PTS patients in and out of hospitals, clinics, health department and wards in a safe and comfortable manner.

To respond to the patient transport requests and obey the directions and instructions as detailed by the relevant client you are operating on behalf of

To respond to the dispatching information of the control in the appropriate manner as detailed by control

To convey patients in and out of hospitals, clinics, health departments and wards, in a safe and comfortable manner, ensuring that you continue any treatment necessary on route and record that treatment accurately

To maintain effective communications with control at all times

Build good working relationships with clients at all levels

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness at all times

To ensure that you are up to date with any new clinical instructions

Ensure any issues of non-conveyance are carried out in accordance to the clients directives.

Ensure all log sheets are completed correctly and accurately

Dealing with all patient requests in a sensitive manner.

Ensure patients are conveyed in accordance to clients quality and time restraints

Full Enhanced DBS carried out if successful

**Experience**:

- Healthcare: 2 years (preferred)
