We have an incredible opportunity to join our Compliance division as a Compliance Officer here at Hastings Direct.
You will work beside our Head of Compliance and be a technical SME for regulatory compliance.
**What will you be doing?**
- Responsible for the provision of accurate and timely advice to the business stakeholders on regulatory developments and initiatives, both provided by the individual and the team as a whole, as well as in support on projects and other BAU activities
- Identify and advise on upcoming new regulation or regulatory changes
- Own and develop, in conjunction with the risk team, governance of the key conduct risk indicators and key performance indicators for compliance - including for reporting to the various committees
- Work alongside the Head of Compliance in advising the Premium Finance Department and Loans Company in a second line capacity

**What are we looking for?**
- Proven track record of working on own initiative and delivering practical outcomes to a professional standard
- Proven record of Analysis / problem solving experience with attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience of digital working.
- Confident communicator and targeted messaging dependent upon audience as part of a team, including monitoring and maintaining target accuracy and productivity

Essential
- Minimum of 7 years FCA general insurance/broking compliance experience
- Minimum of 3 years exposure to compliance within a direct personal lines insurer
- Working Knowledge of UK regulatory regime and FCA handbook in particular ICOBS, PROD, PRIN, CONC and DISP
- Have working knowledge of complaints within the Regulatory landscape

Desirable
- Knowledge of Financial Crime regulation from a General Insurance perspective

**Qualifications**
Professional Compliance qualification or working towards same would be essential
