**We are a **Dementia Care Home based in Knottingley, supporting vulnerable adults who have a diagnosis of Dementia.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to work 20 hours a week on nights. The hours of work are on a rota basis, and the position includes weekends and bank holidays with enhanced rates of pay.

**What will be expected from me?**

The purpose of this role is to oversee and maintain the care of the residents and support the home manager and assistant manager with the general running of the home and provision of person-centred care and support for our residents.

**What I might be doing?**
- You will provide person-centred care and support for the residents within the home.
- You will communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and families.
- You will manage and safely administer service users’ medications.
- You will providing high levels of care to ensure that our residents have the best quality of life in their later years.

**Essential requirements**:

- NVQ 2 in Social Care. NVQ 3 in Social Care is desirable or a willingness to work towards.
- An understanding of Safe manual handling techniques.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults.
- A minimum of two years’ experience of working with older adults and an understanding of their differing complex care needs.

- Perform nightly audits of hotel financial transactions and reports
- Verify accuracy of guest accounts, including charges and credits
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management and other departments
- Reconcile and balance revenue, cash, and credit card transactions
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with guest accounts
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns

- Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Proficient in using hotel property management systems (PMS) and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of hotel operations, policies, and procedures
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14,281.00-£15,821.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
