**Key responsibilities**:
In this job title job, your responsibilities will include:

- To support learners through induction, personal support and to undertake initial assessments as required by College policies and procedures including requests for identified support as appropriate.
- To prepare teaching and learning programmes to a high standard using appropriate individual and group techniques, including the effective use of digital learning activities and materials, which encourage active participation in learning.
- To manage the learning process by creating an appropriate environment, plan and structure learning activities, communicate effectively and review the learning process with learners.
- To measure learning and achievement through appropriate assessment methods and make use of assessment information to ensure learners make progress.
- To participate in internal verification processes, in accordance with College and awarding body requirements.
- To maintain all manual and IT based records and other learner progress tracking documentation as required by awarding bodies and/or the College.

**Skills & experience**:
Teaching qualification i.e. DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards in line with contractual requirements)

A minimum of a level 4 qualification in Business

GCSE A* - C in Maths and English (Grades 9 - 4) or equivalent

Safeguarding, Prevent, Equality and Diversity, GDPR and Health and Safety training to be completed within one month of appointment
