**Personal Care Assistant for young boy. 6hrs weekly + 6hrs weekly school hols Amble**:
Young boy in Amble with Autism, PICA, AFRID and Epilepsy requires a care assistant to support with 6hrs per week during all term time and 12hrs in school holiday weeks.
- Hours to be arranged flexibly but will be needed on evenings and/or weekends. During school holiday weeks full flexibility around hours.
**Experience preferred but not essential.**
**Hours of work**:6 hrs weekly + 6hrs weekly extra in school holidays.
**Rates of Pay: - £11.91 per hour**
**Location: Amble**
**Main Duties**:
- We are looking to recruit a support worker for this little boy who has no speech and a diagnosis of Autism, PICA, AFRID and Epilepsy. The role is to enable this little boy to access age appropriate activities within the local community.
The child will require support with personal care, but there are no requirements to administer medication.
**Personal specification**:
- have experience and a positive understanding about children who have disabilities
- have a genuine interest in working with children with complex needs
- be punctual and reliable as the child cannot be left unsupervised
- have a positive and caring nature
- respect confidentiality
**Training**:Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
