Training Coordinator Apprentice

Marlborough Highways is an established, independent and dynamic civil engineering company with 30 years of industry experience and expertise in public realm, regeneration and infrastructure projects.
We work with Councils, Local Authorities and Contractors in London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and the South East, delivering pioneering multi-million-pound trials and rollouts for large programmes and phased schemes through to smaller one-off projects.
**What you will be working on**:
- Assist training manager in reviewing and updating the training need analysis matrix for every department.
- Verify compliance training tickets held by new starters with the training need analysis matrix and update supervisors/managers on any gaps.
- Assist induction officers in adding Operator permits to Quest.
- Upload new starter training tickets to quest and update training matrix.
- Maintain a training Plan.
- Maintain Training matrix and update supervisors/managers on any expiring/expired tickets.
- Liaise with training providers and manage training bookings.
- Maintain training calendar, remind supervisors on upcoming trainings and ensure joining instructions are sent.
- Ensure training agreements are signed and returned by delegates prior to attending any training.
- Assist accounts and HR department in recovering training costs.
- Maintain Teams page and spreadsheet to track employees who are attending training including details of dates and costs.
- Assist training Manager with Citb grant and Levy and various fundings.
- Generate training report with the costs of training booked every year.
- Manage iHASCO e-learning portal.
- Assist QHSE department in drafting tool box talks and safety alerts.
- Assist QHSE team in compliance audits ( both internal & external) with the training elements.
- File all training certificates ( hard copies) safely.
- Collate and issue in-date certificates to leavers upon request.
R&D
- Work with QHSE team to integrate existing training matrix to quest app.
- Work with QHSE team to improve the ways in identifying, managing and delivering compliance trainings.
