We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable UK Insurance firm with very exciting growth plans. They are looking for a Commercial Insurance Claims Handler with experience handling Property, Liability, Fleet and general SME claims. This is fantasticopportunity for an experienced and talented Insurance Claims professional to gain a foothold within a growing organisation and advance in their career.
The successful applicant must be able to multi-task and prioritise a diverse workload. An individual with a willingness to learn and progress would be most suited to this role. The role involves assisting clients with insurance claims to insurers, to negotiateand obtain settlement of claims, to liaise with claimants, insurers and loss adjusters throughout the whole claim cycle.
**Key Role Criteria**:
- Promptly handle and positively resolve enquiries from brokers, customers and colleagues
- Achieve targets to maintain productivity, quality and service standards
- Maintain compliance standards in line with FCA and internal procedures at all times
- To be the first point of contact for customers reporting all types of claims ensuring they receive prompt and accurate advice
- Maintain client records with up to date information regarding claims history
- Attend and contribute to company meetings as required
- CII qualifications to a cert CII Level
- Educated to good standards (A Level or equivalent to include English and Maths)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a previous role to demonstrate skills
- Experience of working with budgets
