Munchkins Nursery are looking to recruit a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice to join their team

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

- Provide high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for all children in the nursery.
- Support fellow team members in delivering outstanding care and education.
- Help implement and maintain daily routines that create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**- Create and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning opportunities.- Maintain detailed records, observations, and developmental progress of key children.- Provide personal care such as feeding, changing, and comforting children as needed.- Support children with additional needs and promote full integration.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure the nursery philosophy and policies are upheld.
- Act as a key worker, developing strong relationships with children and their families.
- Be flexible and proactive in supporting colleagues across the nursery.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and carers.
- Share information about children’s progress and well-being, including incident reports.
- Ensure children are collected safely, following nursery procedures.
- Assist with planning and preparation of activities, snacks, and equipment.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and nursery events outside of normal hours.
- Uphold the nursery’s standards, policies, confidentiality, and health & safety practices at all times.
- **Skills and Personal Qualities**
- A non-judgemental and compassionate approach, with the ability to respond calmly and effectively to a variety of situations
- A current or willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
- A commitment to ongoing professional growth, including a willingness to attend relevant training and development courses
- A clear understanding of and dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusive practice within the nursery setting
