Production Operative/flt Driver

A great opportunity has arisen for a Production Operator/FLT Driver to join a well-established postal business based in Huntingdon. They have grown strongly in recent years and have clear plans to grow further and are looking for experienced and committedindividuals to come and join our business and be part of their journey.

You must hold a valid FLT license.

Hours: Monday - Friday - 3pm-8pm (additional hours available if required)

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

**The Key Responsibilities include**:

- Ensure all work is carried out safely.
- Ensure all parcels are packed away safely with no damage
- Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work.
- To report safety and hazard faults.
- Ensure customer quality standards are maintained at all times, including filling up all cages to minimise the amount of cages on the warehouse floor
- Ensure a rapid response to machine failures and breakdowns and inform relevant departments (Team leader & maintenance).
- Keep Shift Team Leader informed of work progress.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks).
- Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues.
- Demonstrate flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required.

- Multi-tasker, adaptable and able to manage deadlines well
- Thrives in a growing, changing environment and is results driven
- Enjoys working as part of a team

**Desired Experience**
- Experience in a similar position would be preferred, however full training will be given and a positive and can do attitude is just as important in these roles.
