Our People Services Team is split into HR, L&D and Recruitment. We are looking for a new HR Assistant to join the HR Team, and reporting into the HR Manager.

This role is all about systems, processes and data. You’ll be working on our new starters, leavers and variations to contract processes, ensuring that the HR System is accurate and utilised fully at all times. You’ll be sending out official communications to our Team Members and Managers, so you’ll need to have a flare for words as well as a good head for numbers.

You will lead on and ensure people processes such as probations are managed on-time, as well as supporting with efforts to gain feedback from colleagues at all stages of the employee lifecycle such as surveys and exit interviews. You’ll own the administration of Phoenix’s benefits offering - ensuring that Team Members have access to and use our range of benefits that complement their salary.

Over time you will become the People Services in-house expert on the HR System. You’ll work with the HR Manager and wider team members to utilise the HR System as a single source of consistently high quality data. The HR System also drives our Payroll processes, so you will need to work closely with and communicate effectively with colleagues in the Payroll team. You’ll need to be confident in handling data, producing reports using the HR System and Excel, including interpreting data and spotting trends.

**_ You’ll need to have a good basic understanding of contractual terms and conditions of employment as well as experience of managing data. We are looking for someone who has worked in HR team before, and has a passion for all things systems and process related_**

The role is full-time (although reduced hours would be considered) and based out of our Support Hub on Lower Moor Way in Tiverton.
