**About the role**:
As Moulding Operational Team Leader you will be responsible for co-coordinating all activities associated within the moulding manufacturing areas.

Performs duties to ensure that all budgeted manufacturing objectives are achieved.

Working hours for this shift: 11:00-23:00/ 3 days on, 3 days off basis with a very attractive shift allowance.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Responsible for the operational performance of the team to achieve business objectives, initiating hands-on approach when appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring that all associates working within the manufacturing area comply at all times to health, safety, environmental and Quality Systems.
- Responsible for ensuring that all associates working within the manufacturing area receive appropriate training in order to maintain compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
- Must ensure all production areas are continually supplied with the relevant components.
- Responsible for the transportation of finished product to the steriliser.
- Ensure all products are manufactured as specified within the Quality System, and to coordinate corrective action to maintain the product at the accepted quality levels. Support the self-audit programme.
- Participate in the team process of recruitment of new personnel, good employee relations, and the development of team members by an ongoing assessment of each individual. Support disciplinary procedures as appropriate.
- Empower, encourage and involve all team members in continuous improvement programmes. Have input into new processes and collaborate closely with support teams and groups. Facilitate team meetings as required.
- Coordinate holiday authorisation, self-certification, and attendance registration per the company policy and optimally communicates upon these to HR and Payroll as appropriate and in a timely manner.
- Implement manufacturing schedules. Maintains effective control by the management of specific lots. Makes changes to materials, manning and production when required to react to changes in the schedule
- Perform all duties that support and uphold the core values of the company. Maintain regular and clear communications on the status of all activities within the area.
- Ensures all appraisals are completed as advised by the Value Stream Shift Leader to the standards as applied by the company.
- Prepared to fill in at break times and/or when sickness affects manning levels.
