Clinical Trial Lead

6-month contract

Oxford/London

£250-350 per day (PAYE)

Clinical experience within Academia is essential

Cpl Life Science are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Trial Lead to support and advise on an array on Clinical Studies within a large Academic institute. This role will involve liaising with international teams and guiding monitoring teams across theglobe.

This position requires someone who can not only lead global studies, but also interpret and advise on trial regulations, providing input and improvement recommendations to the processes and procedures currently in place.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ability to lead global studies within an academic setting
- Work on a variety of therapy areas simultaneously including within Oncology and Cardiovascular
- Strategic input and leadership on issues that arise during the study
- Development of global trial documentations including SOP’s, ICF’s and IOPs
- Lead a team of monitors including on an international level
- Present trial protocols and monitoring plans and methodology to international colleagues
- Lead the development of regulatory processes and procedures
- Interpret local and global regulations and ensure all trials are following all appropriate channels
- Critically review study specifications and in-house systems
- Work globally across multidisciplinary study teams

Essential experience includes:

- Degree within Biological science or within medicine/nursing
- In depth knowledge of clinical trial regulations (UK and globally)
- Experience leading monitors and ability to develop monitoring methods
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel on occasion if required
- Experience presenting to large audiences
- Ideally experience leading multi-national clinical research
