We are seeking **Press Operatives **for our client, a leader in the design engineering and manufacture of high quality cost efficient composite components based in **Lisburn.**

**The Press Operator will be responsible for the safe use of Compression Moulding Presses, their associated tools and equipment required to press moulded products.**

**Pay Rate**: £12.10 - £12.32 Per Hour + Holiday Pay

**Working Hours**:
Rotational Shifts, 2 Weeks Day Shift, 2 Weeks Mid Shift, 2 Weeks Night Shift
**Day Shift**: Monday to Thursday 7am - 3pm, Friday 5.30am - 12pm
**Mid Shift**: Monday to Thursday 3pm - 11pm, Friday 12pm - 6.30pm
**Night Shift**: Sunday (Night) to Thursday 11pm - 7am, Friday 11pm - 5.30am

**Job Duties**:
**Safety**:

- Ensure correct PPE is always worn.
- Report Hazards, Near Misses and Accidents in the area.
- Report any unsafe practices in the area to Supervisor.
- Completion of related equipment data records.
- Ensure full compliance to all safety aspects of the machine/ tools used.
- Ensure chemicals are always stored in chemical cabinets provided.
- Report all defected equipment / tools / items to Supervisor / Area Manager.

**Quality**:

- Follow defined Quality checks.
- Follow MPS provided to mould items.
- Weigh / mix raw materials (LPMC, glass fibre, resins, catalysts etc.) and record on the production record sheets of amounts used.
- Ensure non-conforming parts are logged on non-conformance sheet.
- Complete necessary paperwork, part stamping to ensure traceability of the parts.

**Performance**:

- Ensure Schedule Board is updated at the end of the shift highlighting shift performance.
- Report faults to maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Ensure production schedules are adhered to.
- Report issues to Supervisor if daily target not achieved.
- Ensure orders are completed to dispatch schedules.

**Standard**:

- Ensure good 5s housekeeping in the area.
- Ensure all waste disposed into the bins provided.
- Ensure attendance of daily huddles.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is available.
