Weekend Supervisor Job Specification

The usual shift pattern for this role will consist of a Friday to Tuesday 7:00am to 4:00pm

The salary for this position is £12 per hour and will usually consist of 42.5 hours within your working week, however at times additional hours may be required.

Simon Charles however may feel the need to adjust or alter this shift pattern to better suit the business needs.

Duties

The duties that the supervisor is expected to perform are as follows;
- Manage a small team ensuring productivity of it’s members.
- Maintain and monitor KPI’s as set out by senior management.
- Ensuring stock is being picked efficiently, minimising both waiting times for customers and picking errors.
- Ensure that stock is set out in a customer friendly and catalogue friendly manner in order to maximise sales potential. This will require a close working relationship with the catalogue manager.
- Ensuring that the warehouse standards are maintained at all times including; cleanliness and health and safety as well as appearance.
- Investigate any issues that could lead to refunds and deal with these refunds in a time efficient manner.
- Ensure sales areas are condensed following sales in a manner that allows stock to be quickly re-listed for auction.
- Ensure any postal orders are completed by the end of the working day.
- Assist with the recruitment, training/retraining of staff members as well as with the disciplinaries where relevant.
- Be proactive in improving overall warehouse efficiencies both in the creation and implementation of new ideas. This will involve a close working relationship with the Warehouse Manager.
- Be vigilant in the any concerns regarding any staff members performance, reporting any issues where they arise.

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
