**Job Description (JD)**:
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to achieve their recovery goals. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing care and assistance with daily living, promoting independence, and fostering a safe and supportive environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support patients with mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
- Assist in treatment plans and provide emotional support.
- Monitor physical and mental well-being, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure patient safety.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities to aid in their recovery.
- Provide personal care, meal support, and mobility assistance as required.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress.
**Hourly Rate**:
- £28 and above (negotiable based on experience)
**Schedule**:
- Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays
- Flexible shifts available (Day/Night)

**Requirements (Qualification and Experience)**:
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in the UK healthcare sector, preferably in mental health settings or the NHS.
- Immunity to Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis (TB) is mandatory.
- Must reside within a 90-minute commute radius of the specified postcodes.
- Strong communication, compassion, and interpersonal skills.
**Screening Skills**:
- A background check (DBS) and verification of documents will be conducted.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
