**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Developing staff practise whilst ensuring staff development.
- Passion to deliver high quality exciting learning opportunities.
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver the highest care and education standards.
- To lead by example and drive the culture of Safeguarding Children and promoting professional staff behaviour.
- In collaboration with management contribute to succession planning, identification, and delivery of relevant training.
- Working as part of a larger team on day-to-day tasks are completed in line with the nursery demands.
- Continuation of personal professional development ensuring your knowledge and skills are up to date, full, and relevant to the role of leading teams as a Room Manager.

**Required Skills/Qualifications**:

- Hold relevant childcare qualifications
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation.
- Previous experience of caring for children under 5.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- A team player and leader.
- Good communication skills.
