**The Role**

- Shape and deliver a forward-thinking vision for Economics within the department.
- Lead curriculum innovation and development across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Support and mentor academic staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.
- Contribute to the senior leadership team, influencing and delivering on, departmental strategy.

**Who We're Looking For**

We are seeking an inspiring leader with:

- A strong academic profile in Economics, ideally with expertise in areas such as Economic History, Macroeconomics, or Microeconomics.
- Experience of academic leadership and team management within higher education.
- A track record of curriculum development and pedagogic innovation resulting in positive demonstrable impact.
- The ability to build external networks and partnerships that enhance student outcomes and impact.
- A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of academic life.
